yeh i was thinking about it after i wouldnt be suprised if half of the components arnt 2nd hand or recon i cant see how that system is so cheap and if it looks to good it often is i was thinking if it would be possible to get 2 half sphere molds made via vacum forming and then put those 2 together. i also thought it would be easyer to make the "shell" and handles as 1 solid bit of metal and paint the center gold. http://tformers.com/reviews.php?op=showcontent&id=1077 2nd image is a pretty good idea of how i can see it going together.

Woody, Intel are bringing out two new Socket types next year. These will replace 1156 & 1366 sockets. Mad eh?

LOL skull you've clearly thought about that before I'm surprised at those computers on e-bay, if they had a good rep (with people I knew) I'd consider one, they seem to be sensibly specced machines, the £1100 and £1500 ones that is, the £4500 one is bonkers, no-one needs that CPU, the 920 or 930 is enough for pretty much everyone.

hey guys goin to be writing up my work log now goin to be posting it here first since u guys were so helpfull to me lol i gather like most amatuer projects i have had my problems with the fu*ker and whilst its "finished" to some sort of standerd now im going to be redoing it all when i can be arsed and rl is a little bit more normal 1st parts from scan..... jesus h christ they were amazing had next day deliver on pretty much all of it but the water cooling and gfx card which was fair enough since i wanted them to fit the gfx block. BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT city link lost the pack that had my pump liquid and tubing in it so that was a week that killed me thankfully i could paint the case whilst waiting primer went down easy as pie..... but the yellow cans i ordered ....... were eluminus green..... so i painted it any way looked like radio active snot so i decide bugger it i might as well paint it the red and use it as a base coat then i work out what i had in my head....... didnt actully match hot rods colors what so ever so i mixed my own paint....... lol ran out half way threw so have 2 shaded tower its been nearly like 3 weeks and im still waiting on some parts from scan my pump needs to be fixed some how, at the moment it is actully just hanging by the intake pipe lol when i fitted the res it leaked which was fun turned out the face plate wasnt tight enough so now im paranoid about the rig im hopeing to find time to respray it thinking might go a yellow and black and do a bumble bee theme sort of like a ducati mod i saw in a mag a while ago but all this has taken a back seat since my mum found out she has cancer hense why i havent been on to make my work log lol
