just bought a hard drive for my system as it was lacking a little storage. 500gb more should be enough space.

i was thinking of using my old drive as just the hd to have windows on and the 500gb new drive for music and just about everything else.

Is this doo-able.

Also how would i go about transfering all my files onto this new hd. specifically all i really care about is the music collection. too me a long time to steal all that music!

When you have installed windows just copy and paste the folders over it is very straight forward to do
